Update December 23, 2009

Update: Two soldiers will be baptised at Immanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon on December 24th at 1700 (5:00PM). These two are committing their lives to Christ and country. If at all possible, attend the service, and show your support.

It was proposed that we (Chapter 1004) assemble at O'Charley's in Lebanon for a group New Years dinner, around 1730-1800 (5:30PM-6:00PM), on December 31st.

Please don't forget to be in the Lebanon Square wearing your flash, it will be VVA 1004's way of sending off our local troops being deployed.

Thanks, ~Sarge

New Post Update

Attn: All Members

At Ronnie "T-Lightening" Hobbs' request.

Two soldiers have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour, Amen!!!

Both are being deployed soon to the Middle East. It is their desire to confirm their Faith by Baptism prior to leaving the United States. The Pastor at Ronnie Hobbs' church has set aside a time for their Baptism during the Christmas Eve Service. It is Ronnie's request that as many VVA members come to his church to show support for these two brave young men, as they embark on both their new duty station, and on their journey as new born again Christians. More information as to times and location will be announced by Ronnie on Wednesday morning at the Old Neighborhood Grill at 0830. Please, plan to attend.

To those who can not attend the Wednesday morning meeting for whatever reason, Christmas Holiday travel or other family business. I would like to extend to all of you my wishes for a Very Merry and Blessed Christmas, and may God keep you safe and make 2010 a very prosporous New Year!!!! ~Sarge

I apologise for not posting the pictures from the Christmas Parade as yet, I am still working it, I beg your indulgence as my computer, fine piece of machinery as it is, is well, somewhat on the blink, soon to be rectified however, I hope!!!

It was good to see so many of you at The Old Neighborhood Grill this morning. I trust everyone had a great Thanksgiving. No one looked any worse for the wear. Take care, until next time. Remember, if you know of anyone who is still out in the bush, tell them about us, welcome them home, and if possible, bring them to the next meeting. WHICH BY THE WAY, THERE IS A DATE CHANGE FOR OUR NEXT MEETING AT THE FAIRGROUNDS. WE WILL BE MEETING ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 14TH AT 1900 (7:00pm). PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE!!! Thanks, ~Sarge

I posted NOON at the School for the Christmas Parade, I was obviously fed some false information, by person/persons unknown. Anyway Belay that, and be at the school around 1300-1315. The parade doesn't start until two. No need freezing our **S's off any longer than we haveto, right? SEE YOU THERE> ~Sarge
